قال الإمام الشافعي رحمه الله: 'من تعلم وتعلم، ورفع وأعلى، وأشرق وأشرف، فيجب أن يكون أعماله أرقى من أقواله، وإلا فهو كالسحاب يظلل الناس بظله، ولا يمطر عليهم'

Imam Al-Shafi'i, may God have mercy on him, once said: 'He who learns and teaches, ascends and elevates, shines and supervises, his deeds ought to be loftier than his words, otherwise, he is like the cloud that provides people with its shade, but does not rain upon them.'
